Zen M25 – Keep talking.. and talking……and talking…!!!
Jul 9th, 2010 by admin

Looks like mobile manufacturers have seriously understood the major requirements of the mobile users – “The need for more standby time”. Till a few days back,  Samsung were leading manufacturers in manufacturing mobiles that have some of the most incredible standby time. Unfortunately for Samsung just when they thought they had the a phone which offers an amazing standby time of 67 days, Zen Mobile is willing to give that little extra.

Zen Mobiles have apparently launched a dual-SIM phone which boasts of a standby time of 72 days or  1,728 hours to be particular.  The Zen M25 mobile sports the standard size 2.4-inch TFT screen with a good resolution. However a very disappointing feature of the Zen M25 is that it  packs a 1.3 megapixel camera. Now this might pose a problem and I seriously feel they should have improve the resolution of the camera.  The phone also offers support for English and Hindi language. Other key features of the mobile  include 3.5 mm jack,  500 contacts phone book, Bluetooth, FM recorder, FM radio and expandable memory up to 4GB. The phone promises  customers a decent talk time of 16 hours.

Look out, the Galaxy tab is coming!!!
Jun 9th, 2010 by admin

Finally Samsung Reveals the  Galaxy Tablet. This is the all new 7-inch Android OS touchscreen tablet computer. Apparently the company has released the first glimpses of the new mobile and it looks smashing!!!!

The picture was posted on Thursday through the social networking site Twitter. The site shows the new mobile “Galaxy Tab” sitting next to Samsung’s recently announced Galaxy S smartphone. The company Samsung apparently posted this picture through its South African blog, which uses the Twitter address: @SamsungBlogSA.

Not revealing the details of the phone, the picture was taken down from the site later in the day, but has garnered enough attention on the Web. The only details made available about the tablet is that it would have a 7-inch touchscreen, operate on Google’s Android operating systems and would be available in South Africa. Also it is assumed that this device is going to  joined by an 8-inch and 10-inch model several months after the August launch pitted for the 7-inch Android

Strangely the company does not intend to release the tablet in the United States. Samsung South Africa was unavailable for comment.

Indeed a “Milestone” from Motorola…!!
May 28th, 2010 by admin

The battle for the best mobile manufacturer is turning hot with every day. The last few months have seen zillion relases from top mobile manufacturers like Nokia, Motorola, Google, Apple, Samsung etc. Just when you think of settling down with “X” mobile, “Y” comes into the market with better features, better specifications and the same price range.

The mobile users are spoilt for choice with an endless list of mobiles to choose from every proce range.  Personally speaking I’m a big fan of the Motorola mobiles. I think they come out with some of the most funky mobiles with great features. Just as we were getting used to Android-powered handsets, Motorola has rolled out Milestone, which works on the latest Android version, 2.1. It is also equipped with the world’s thinnest QWERTY sliders measuring only 13.7 mm.

This mobile is powered by a very powerful ARM Cortex A8 processor. This is the same processor that powers the Apple iPhone 3GS and the multimedia powerhouse that is the Omnia HD. Motorola has also preloaded it with lifetime free access to fully voice-guided street-level navigable maps of 401 cities in India. With its 3.7″ widescreen display, pinch and zoom, double tap zoom capabilities and 5 MP camera with dual-LED flash, AutoFocus, and image stabilisation, it seems like a product to look out for. Price: Rs 32,990
